Service Description
This service is designed for locs that need structural support beyond a standard retwist. If your locs are thinning, weak at the root, breaking along the shaft, unraveling, or showing signs of stress, this appointment focuses on assessment, reinforcement, and repair. During your visit, we evaluate the condition of your locs and determine the best repair approach. Depending on what your hair needs, the service may include strengthening weak areas, reinforcing thinning sections, reattaching broken locs, rebuilding damaged spots, or blending repairs so the finished result looks natural with your existing locs. This is not a full loc extension installation. It is a targeted recovery service for clients who want to preserve their current locs, reduce further breakage risk, and support healthier long-term maintenance. Some repairs can be completed in one visit, while more advanced breakage or thinning may require a staged repair plan. Repair work is best approached with realistic expectations and long-term hair health in mind, not quick cosmetic shortcuts. Optional treatments or styling may be recommended based on your loc condition, scalp health, and maintenance goals. Best for: Thinning locs, weak roots, broken locs, unraveling sections, stressed areas, color-damaged locs, over-manipulated locs, or locs needing reinforcement. Not for: Full loc extension installations, major extension installs on loose natural hair, or medical scalp concerns. If scalp irritation, excessive shedding, sores, or visible hair loss patterns are present, a dermatologist or qualified scalp specialist may be recommended. Policy note: Final pricing and timing depend on the number of locs needing repair, severity of damage, density, length, and whether added hair is needed. A consultation may be required before repair work is approved.
Cancellation Policy
Appointment Deposits A non‑refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments. Deposits are applied toward your total service cost. Appointments are not confirmed without a deposit. Late Cancellation Policy A minimum of 24 hrs’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made within 24 hours will result in loss of deposit. Repeated late cancellations may require full prepayment for future bookings. No‑Show Policy No‑shows are charged the full cost of the services booked. Your deposit will be forfeited. A new deposit is required to book again. Clients with multiple no‑shows will lose online booking privileges. Late Arrival Policy Arriving more than 10–15 minutes late may require rescheduling. Late arrivals may result in a shortened service, additional fees, or forfeiture of the appointment (deposit still applies). Consultation Policy Consultations are required for new clients, color services, loc extensions, repairs, or major changes. Consultation fees are non‑refundable. Color & Chemical Services Waiver Clients must disclose all previous color, relaxers, keratin, henna, or chemical treatments. Results cannot be guaranteed if history is incomplete or inaccurate. Loc’d Affinity is not responsible for outcomes affected by undisclosed or at‑home treatments. A signed waiver is required before service. Service Adjustment Policy Concerns must be communicated within 48 hrs. Adjustments are offered at the stylist’s discretion. No refunds on completed services. Retail Sales & Returns All retail sales are final. Opened or sample items cannot be returned. Unopened items may be exchanged within a limited timeframe. Children & Guests Policy Only clients receiving services may be in the salon unless approved in advance. Children must be supervised at all times. Health & Scalp Condition Policy Services may be declined if scalp conditions are severe, contagious, or untreated. Clients may be referred to a medical professional. Deposits remain non‑refundable if service is declined for health reasons. Safety & Weapons Policy No firearms, weapons, or harmful items are permitted on the premises. This applies to all clients and guests, including those with permits. Right to Refuse Service We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who displays disrespectful, aggressive, or unsafe behavior or violates salon policies. Payment Policy Cash, Cash App, Zelle, Debit/Credit, Apple Pay, Afterpay (memberships only). Balance due at end of service.
